FAMI-QS

FAMI-QS is a quality and safety management system for specialty feed ingredients, such as additives, premixtures, and feed materials. It was established in 2004 as an initiative of the European Feed Additives and Premixtures Association (FEFANA) and is now recognized as a global quality and safety system for the feed industry.

FAMI-QS provides a framework for managing the quality and safety of specialty feed ingredients throughout the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. It is based on the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and covers all aspects of feed production, including sourcing, processing, packaging, storage, and transportation.

The FAMI-QS standard includes requirements for:

• Product control
